FOUNDER

Drivin911 was created and is curated by Kim Ellegaard —

built around a lifelong passion for what many consider the world's greatest sports car.

Like every Porsche enthusiast, I have my 911 dream.

​

The one that has lived in my dreams since childhood.

For me, it has always been a Porsche 930 Turbo Convertible in Guards Red with a light

brown leather interior. That dream has never changed.

And yes... we all have one.

​

If we're talking modern Porsche, it's hard not to admire a black 992 Carrera.

Different generations, different personalities — but the same unmistakable DNA.

My very first drive in a Porsche 911 took place almost thirty years ago in a 1972 911 finished in Metallic Purple, thanks to Kim from Porsche Centrum. I still remember how effortlessly it drove. That single experience confirmed what I had always believed — the Porsche 911 was unlike anything else.

​

That perspective is not built on theory.

It is shaped by decades spent close to the automotive world, including workshop management, technical operations, insurance insight, and more than 25 years of hands-on restoration work with classic and vintage cars.

​

Drivin911 was never created simply to list cars.

It was built to become an international home for the Porsche 911 — a place where enthusiasts, collectors and respected specialists can discover exceptional cars, share knowledge and celebrate the world's most iconic sports car.

Every Porsche 911 has a story.
